This 85-km itinerary takes you to various places of natural or historical interest, such as Mondaino, Saludecio and Montegridolfo. It is also a chance for those who are not expert cyclists, but enjoy nature and physical activity, to follow a route of medium difficulty through some beautiful landscapes and old towns. The ride involves a 900-metre change in level, so a 39×23 gearing should suffice.
You start from Riccione and head towards Misano Cella and Mondaino. From here, you climb towards Mondaino, at a height of 400 metres. Keep your hands on your brakes now, because the first 2 km of the descent can be dangerous. You continue downhill to Pesaro via Montegridolfo, Trebbio, Montecchio and Osteria Nuova.
By Pesaro, you’ll have covered 45 km. You now join the Panoramic route, and continue through the Monte San Bartolo Nature Reserve, with a series of ups and downs, bends and double bends. The last stretch to Riccione gives you a feeling of pleasure and freedom with its amazing views from high above the sea.
