A beautiful ride that departs and makes its way back to Bagno di Romagna, following different routes, mostly within the wonderful and unspoiled Casentino, Mount Falterona and Campigna National Park, and partly through scenic Tuscany in the province of Arezzo.
Alternating stretches of mountain climbs and downhills, with some flat section, to conclude with a final uphill climb. The itinerary is therefore ideal for cycling enthusiasts looking to test their stamina along mountain roads, without covering an excessive distance.
SOME TOWNS ALONG THIS ROUTE (VERGHERETO, BAGNO DI ROMAGNA) ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO BE PART OF THE 2017 11TH GIRO D\’ITALIA STAGE, WHICH WILL SET OFF FROM FLORENCE (PONTE A EMA) AND TRAVEL TO BAGNO DI ROMAGNA.
We are located in Emilia Romagna, region bordered by Veneto and the beautiful cities of Venice and Padua to the North, and by Tuscany, Umbria and Marche to the South, offering charming cities such as Florence, Perugia, Assisi and Urbino.
We are characterised by a concentration of adrenaline, traditions and typical cuisine, captured in the most beautiful tours that touch sites on the Adriatic coast such as Cesenatico, the land of Pantani, and reach all the way to Ferrara and Ravenna, cities of art and history, passing through rugged ascents such as those of Cippo and Carpegna, or the Cimone in Modena.
