From Bagno di Romagna you can reach the “Mulattiera del Còmero”, a historic pathway that is still paved, which climbs pleasantly into the hills, shaded by oak trees and maples. The mule track leads to the village of Poggio Piccioni, skirts the houses and then climbs gradually through thickets of chestnut trees and clearings. In the stretches where nature is less dense, you can enjoy splendid views of the Upper Savio Valley and the rugged ridge of the Apennines. At a large gate, turn downhill and after a few bends, you will reach Le Bruschete, a holiday home just below “Testa del Leone”. Following signs marked b/r 161 down a path through the woods, you will reach Poggio Pian delle Riti, take another path to Poggio Vitine and then to a large antenna. Here we turn and head towards Pian Basilica: Bagno di Romagna is just below us, and can be reached along a wide dirt road that leads right to the side of our Resort.
